Heartburn, Acid Reflux or Gastro esophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a health condition in which the contents of the stomach move back from the stomach into the esophagus. The acid from the stomach irritates the esophagus and can lead to such things as severe discomfort and painful heartburn. If left untreated, damage can occur to the esophagus over time leading to more serious health conditions.

Symptoms: Some common symptoms associated with Acid Reflux or GERD include:
1. Heartburn.
2. Burning pain in chest.
3. Nausea.
4. Difficulty swallowing.
5. Sensation that food is stuck in your esophagus.
6. Vomiting
7. Poor digestion
8. Constipation

Cause: The symptoms of Heartburn, Acid reflux, and GERD occur as a result of the over production of stomach acid and the dysfunction the valve going to the stomach is faulty wiring. If you compare the wiring that control your stomach you can compare it to that of your home computer. Think of your home computer and the effects of having two wires cross that shouldn’t and it is easy to see that bad things will happen. In your body there are many things that can lead to “bad” or improper wiring. Left untreated this can lead to more severe health problems
